Chinese cooking: Chicken chop suey


The term chop suey means "mixture of chopped up pieces". It's often used to cook leftover vegetables.
You can make a vegetarian version by adding tofu or Quorn pieces in place of chicken.
To speed up cooking and make your dish taste even better, use a wok: it will be cooked in just 10 minutes!

Ingredients (serves 6)

500g chicken breast
500g seasonal vegetables: carrots, turnips, courgettes, peppers, green beans, tomatoes, onions
20g beansprouts
10g black mushrooms
10g flavored mushrooms (soak them in advance)
1 teaspoon paprika
A hint of Cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons oil
