Post-holiday blues: how to make your holiday mood last

Party like you're still on holiday!


Holidays are all about spending quality time with your friends, hooking up with old ones and making new ones. 
1- Keep in touch with your holiday friends. Agree to see each other at least once a month, and make sure you all stick to it. Each person can take turns to decide what you do (go to the theater, meet up for a girly brunch, etc).   
2- Re-live your holiday. For all those friends you didn't get to see on holiday, send an email (or link on your blog/Facebook page) to share the best, worst, funniest and most embarrassing moments of your holiday.   
3- Summer nights. Revive the holiday mood with a 'parasol and flip-flop' party in your garden, house or flat. Ask everyone to bring a bottle or plate of the local delicacies you enjoyed at your beach parties.
4- Plan your next getaway. Quit lamenting the amazing hol you've just had and organize your next getaway. Why not visit any new friends you made who live far away, for a change of scenery?  
5- Picnic! Take advantage of the Indian summer (it may yet happen) and organize some alfresco dining. Get everyone to bring a bottle and a friend you don't know, to develop your friendship circle.
