 - An inefficient multitasker
You're trying your best but no matter what you do, things get missed off your list and you can often end up feeling all kinds of stressed.

As an inefficient multitasker, there are definite ways you can improve your working practices and make life easier for yourself.

Don’t look at multitasking as something to be avoided or a necessary evil, instead make it into one of your greatest strengths.

Organize your schedule and single out how much time each task should take. If you think that you might not meet certain deadlines, then don’t feel embarrassed or ashamed to ask for help. By asking for advice and delegating jobs, you will be able to get much more done in a shorter space of time.

Life coach Sue Belton says: “Organization is key. Before getting down to work, set aside time for each task and avoid being interrupted.”

She adds: “Headphones are a useful tool to make it look like you are listening to something. This will make it clear to work colleagues that you can’t talk and can be a barrier to stop people from intruding on your space and time.”

The best way to become a calm, focused multitasker is to avoid distraction and plan, plan and plan a bit more!
