In 99% of cases, no. When men have problems ‘performing’ in bed, it’s not normally because his sex drive has diminished in any way. After all, if he lives with you and you have sex he must fancy you – otherwise he wouldn’t be in bed with you! And anyway, most men are actually more confident about getting an erection with their usual partner than with someone they don’t know, a one-night stand for example.

It’s more likely to be a health problem, so what you should really do is get a doctor’s appointment. It could be something to do with his hormones, an artery problem, side-effects of any medication he’s on or psychological problems like stress. There are really effective treatments your doctor can prescribe if your man is having erection problems, and again, this really has nothing to do with how much he likes you. It's probably a ‘mechanical’ problem, not a relationship problem, and once it’s been fixed you get back on the accelerator again, so to speak…
