Over the years, Credit card companies have become wise to people who swap cards when their 0% APR is finished.  Now the common practice is for the new Credit card company to charge you a set amount or a % of the transfer balance.  Always look into this before deciding which company to transfer to.

You may find that adding an additional £30 in balance transfer fees is not what you would have incurred as interest over the same period.
