The controversial crop

Big textured hair, 70s waves and scruffy buns may have dominated the spring summer catwalks, but there was one model, Nina Porter, who provided a refreshing change with her short boyish crop.

Stars like Emma Watson and Agyness Deyn have proved that short hair can be as feminine as flowing locks, so it was nice to see this demonstrated on one of the most influential catwalks.

Andy Smith, Artistic Director at John Carne told us:

‘This daring style will suit those with delicate, elfin features, and good skin tone is a must! A good cut is essential for this look - once this is achieved, styling is effortless - simply rough dry and apply a lightweight texturizing gum.’

Think boyish beauty!
