What to eat

There are natural ways to help get rid of stress: 
-Drink magnesium-rich mineral water.
-Snack on nuts and seeds (walnuts, hazelenuts, almonds etc) and make sure you get plenty of dried fruit (apricots, raisins, prunes etc), pulses (lentils, chickpeas, kidney beans etc), and - yes - chocolate! All in moderation of course, as all of these foods are pretty calorific! 
-Always go wholemeal (bread, rice, pasta, breakfast cereal, quinoa and bulgur wheat). You get more B vitamins and magnesium the natural way. 
-Don't scrimp on your complex carbs - they aid sleep, for a start.
-Avoid stimulants such as coffee and alcohol. They may keep you at your desk or at the party for a bit longer, but they make you hyperactive, irritable and anxious. 
-Exercise. There's no better way of getting rid of tension and freeing your mind!
