The next time you go jogging, you'll probably want to run a marathon... in bed that is. Feeling a bit kinky after your runs? There's a reason for that. According to a new study from Brooks Running Company, 41 percent of American participants are ready to hit the sheets right after completing this specific cardio workout. And since it's National Running Day, there doesn't seem like a better way to celebrate than with a quick sprint and a steamy post-run "activity" with your partner.

The survey, which Wakefield Research conducted in collaboration with Brooks Running Company, questioned 1,000 adult runners, according to The Huffington Post, 18 and older. The participants, who originated from the U.S., Canada and Germany, reported running at least once a week and were asked about their daily running habits.

The "Run Happy Run Facts" survey included questions about things like who their running partners were to the participants' favorite types of running apparel. Of the more amusing answers in response to the survey, 37 percent of women said they wanted legs like Cameron Diaz while 48 percent of men said they wanted muscular legs like David Beckham. And in addition to 41 percent of Americans feeling frisky post-run, 35 percent of U.S. respondents also said that pre-race romance improved their running performance.

So if that isn't already an incentive to put on those running shoes, we don't know what is.
