New ways to gym

Feeling the pinch

It might sound like common sense but the best way to cut gym costs is just not to go.

With the Olympics coming up and the call for Britain to get into shape ringing loud in your ears, now more than ever there are other options to get you fit without hooking you into an outrageous membership cost.

Just going to the park with your other half or a group of friends can reduce costs even if looking like a sweaty lobster in front of them isn't initially that appealing.

The top tip from Celebrity Fitness Experts Jenny Pacey and Wayne Gordon Ambassadors of Icon Fitness is to do it with your partner:

"Training together can strengthen your relationship. Sign up for a race or event together so that you can plan a training regime, compare times and motivate each other.

Exercise produces chemicals that make you feel happier, reduces stress and gives you more sex drive.”
