Recent research reveals that looking after your oral health can help improve your general health healthier. The research has drawn links between gum disease and serious health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, strokes and pre-term low-birth-weight babies.

And there are other disadvantages too – if you’re dating or even going for an interview, bad breath and dodgy plaque build up aren’t going to do you any favors.
