What do they do?

What do they do?

Toned abs do many a good job:

> They hone and define your waist. If women don't use their abs, they become prone to flab. If you tone your abs you'll reduce the size of your waist and keep muffin tops at bay!

> They give you good posture.
The rectus abdominus and obliques are really important to good posture, keeping your head, shoulders and arms in line. They play a huge part in a range of your body's movements, from flexion to rotation. If you don't use them correctly, you end up with bad posture and your back suffers as a result.

> They're good for your digestion.
Your abs act like a girdle or corset around your internal organs: they hold them in place, help them function better and improve the circulation.
