The Grammy Awards are undoubtedly the ceremony that the entire music industry awaits each year. It's a night dedicated to celebrating the year's most accomplished artists and thus brings with it major star power. The 57th installment of the annual event was no different, as Rihanna, Madonna, Beyoncé, and so many more graced the carpet at the Staples Center. Well before the show even began, onlookers had plenty to feast their eyes on.
Who nailed it and who left us scratching our heads? Check 'em out below.
The Worst Looks
Rihanna made a grand entrance minutes before the show began and quite honestly got everyone talking. Her sweet meringue effect Giambattista Valli gown was gorgeous in hue, but a bit overwhelming in volume. Then there was the curious case of the Joy Villa orange net dress, which was perhaps in poor taste. We'll leave it at that. Sadly, these weren't the only two ladies who missed the mark. This year it seemed as though there was a bad fashion epidemic sweeping the carpet.
Madonna let her butt cheeks hang out in an elaborate Givenchy get-up, Kim Kardashian's Jean Paul Gaultier frock was a size too big, and Iggy Azalea looked great in blue Armani, but got it all wrong with her hair.
The Best Looks
Taylor Swift was simply a vision in a gorgeous Elie Saab gown which she colorblocked with Giuseppe Zanotti heels. Beyoncé was elegant in a black custom Proenza Schouler number, while Katy Perry quite literally sparkled in Zuhair Murad. But can we get a round of applause for style goddess Gwen Stefani who nailed it in Versace? Loved!
