The fash-pack spent much of the afternoon discussing the curvaceous women on the Mark Fast catwalk and the woodland theme at Topshop Unique (the models donned fuzzy ears and antlers).

But the real draw was, as per usual, the PPQ show. Meandering queues almost pouring out onto The Strand were filled with faces of woe, desolate at the thought of missing the action. Which turned out to be black and gold, in the words of Sam Sparro.

The only color punctuating the BFC tents was the rainbow vitamin water lining the front row – gilt trenchcoats and black dresses with gold piping lead the way for PPQ’s take on monochrome.

We craned our necks to get a good gander at gorgeous George (a.k.a George Lamb) and rubbed shoulders with one of the Geldof girls but mostly looked forward to a forgoing the bustling crowd and heading home for an early night.

After all, there’s that 9am start tomorrow.
