Like the mono diet, this is one of the simpler fad diets around. You trade in your regular foods for a diet completely made up of pureed baby foods. While we’re sure there are some yummy baby foods out there, they are still not a good idea as a long-term diet for adults. In any way.

The madder the diet, the bigger the celebrity following, and the baby food diet is no exception. Fans include Reese Witherspoon, Cheryl Cole, Jennifer Aniston and Lady Gaga.

Why to avoid it:

Again, while maintaining a healthy weight and fit body are important, one aspect of eating is completely lost in this diet: the joy of eating. Let's be honest, we're only human. Who wants to eat only baby food, all day, every day?

Food is about enjoyment as well as nutrition, and this diet is simply not worth putting yourself through.
