Herbs and spices have a high level of anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer molecules. Amongst the herbs and spices which have these benefits are: turmeric, ginger, chilli and clove, as well as mint, thyme, marjoram, oregano, basil, rosemary, parsley, coriander, cumin and fennel.

Flaxseed is rich in omega-3 fatty acids which are essential for counterbalancing omega-6 fatty acids that promote an inflammatory environment (conducive to the development of cancer).

It also contains a large quantity of phytoestrogen, a molecule which resembles oestrogen and reduces the sometimes harmful effects of oestrogen.

Crush flaxseed and add it to your dishes (pasta, spreads, etc.) or try flaxseed bread.
