Make your own jam cocktailANARCHY MARMALADE MANHATTAN
Make it with Blood Orange Marmalade, Rye Whiskey, and a sour cherry. Ubiquitous on toast or yogurt in the morning, marmalade makes a nighttime debut in this cocktail that incorporates Blood Orange Marmalade, adding sweet and tart notes, mimicking the traditional Italian vermouth and orange bitters.
MAKES 1 COCKTAIL
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon Blood Orange Marmalade
2 ounces Rye Whiskey
1⁄2 ounce Italian vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters
1 sour cherry
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT
1 cocktail shaker
1 rocks glass or 8-ounce jar
MIX
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Stir 1 tablespoon of Blood Orange Marmalade, 2 ounces Rye Whiskey, 1 ounce Italian vermouth, 2 dashes Angostura bitters with cracked ice.
Don’t stir.
SERVE
