Why it's good for you

Why it's good for you

Rich in water, the pumpkin isn’t a particularly good energy source (20kcal per 100g), but it’s ideal for slimming recipes.

Pumpkins are packed with vitamins, especially Vitamins A, C and E which are essential for growth, healthy bones, skin and eyes. They also guard against cardiovascular illness and cancer.

They are also rich in minerals, especially potassium which helps to regulate blood pressure, and copper too. Last but not least, they are high in fiber which is great for keeping you regular!
