Routine and order
Remember routines. It’s understandable that during the 6 week break of non stop ice lollies and paddling pools, that family routines tend to slip so it's not surprising that getting the kids to re-adjust to their school time routine in September can be a struggle.
Now's the time to focus on strict bedtimes, healthy foods, exercise and regular bed-time routines so that your kids will be prepared and there’ll be no surprises when the morning alarm rings!
Making a packed lunch with the kids on school nights will also help get mornings off to a smoother start.
