We hope Kate Middleton packed her labor bag! Her little bundle of joy is due any day now. Do you know what you'll need on the big day? If you’re expecting soon and want to ensure you have everything ready-to-go check out this list of the 10 best pregnancy must-haves. Trust us, you'll be thanking us later...

Look as primped and polished as the royal Princess herself by making sure you've got everything prepared. Here’s our top 10 essentials for your royal arrival...

1. First and foremost, buy yourself a birth bag

That’s right, ladies, you need to buy yourself a hospital bag. There’s going to be alotta things to put on your baby bag checklist. Everything from your phone, nighties, hair bands, snacks, lip balm and H2O - you name it, it’s gotta come.

2. Don’t forget to pack your PJs!

OK, we know what you’re thinking. You’re hardly going to care what you look like, but trust us, knowing that you have a fresh pair of PJs packed (for what will probably be one of the biggest days of your life) is a must-have for any mom-to-be. Go for H&M or ASOS ones - no post-birth guilt included! Oh, don’t forget your socks and slippers, your toes can get cold during labor, too.

3. Charge your camera

Hardly a time for glamour shots, we know, but you won’t regret bringing along a camera for your beau to take shots with during those special moments after delivery.

4. Telephone number list

Not only is this important for emergencies but why wouldn’t you want to boast about your newborn baby to your family and friends? Give them a call (but make sure the gas and air wears off first).

5. The baby car seat

Remember if you’re planning on taking a car back home when you’re released from the hospital, DON'T forget to bring your little one’s car seat. Driving home will never be the same.

6. Essential documents

Being organized eliminates the stress. Make sure to pack all your essential documents including maternity notes and your birth plan. This way if you or your partner needs to refer to anything it's easy as ever!

7. Scratch mittens

Babies have a tendency to scratch themselves in the face especially when they’re a newborn. Make sure to pack a pair of scratch mittens just in case things get out of hand. But remember don't panic if they do - it’s all a learning process.

8. The mopping up kit

Labor can be, well, messy. So make sure to bring along anything you may need to prep you before and after your delivery. Bring a spray bottle to cool you off during contractions, wet wipes for anything that needs a mopping up (there will be lots of that) and toiletries for those 5 golden minutes you’ll get to shower post birth. Ahhh, bliss.

9. Munchies

Sure, you can count on the vending machines to fuel you through labor, but if you want to save your pennies and make sure you're 100% satisfied (hey, you’re entitled!) make sure to bring along all your favorite snacks and plenty of fresh H2O. We suggest some boiled candy to avoid a dry mouth, chocolate bars (for that much needed glucose boost) and a bag of chips to keep your hubby happy.

10. Maternity pads

There’s no dignity in labor, ladies! But don’t worry, having a baby will be the BEST thing that will ever happen to you. (And that's no understatement.)
