Brassy blonde

As mentioned before, the sun can cause the melanin in your hair to oxidize and lighten, often turning blonde hair an unsightly brassy yellow color.

There are loads of great blonde specific shampoos and conditioners out there, designed to neutralize canary colored tones, and one thing you’ll notice about all of these products is that they’re a purple/ violet color. This is because purple is the opposite shade to yellow, and will deposit a little violet pigment in the hair and calm the yellow right down.

These products are also great for regular use, and will keep natural or highlighted blonde hair looking fresh and fantastic!
