Bleaching

Bleaching

Hair-lightening creams are a good option for light hair growth in obvious areas like the chin or upper lip.  They’re much more practical than plucking, which can leave you with blocked pores and in-growing hairs, never a good look !

Advantages:  A completely painless way of disguising unwanted hair.  Most creams are now lightly perfumed and work in under 10 minutes, giving you a great chance to hide away in the bathroom with a magazine for some quality pampering while you wait.  Because you’re not actually removing the hair, there’s no fear of thicker regrowth either.

Drawbacks:  Darker, thicker hairs can be more resistant to bleaching and may need more regular treatments.  Some brands may sting a little, especially if you have sensitive skin, so make sure you do a patch test first.

Tips:  Choose sensitive skin formulas whatever your skin, type to avoid a painful reaction.  Be careful not to overdo it, you only need a small amount to bleach a mustache.
