On the second day of skiving-off at home, make a date to go somewhere lovely for lunch.

A local restaurant that you can’t afford to eat dinner in (remember, lunch prices are usually MUCH cheaper), a romantic picnic, popcorn in the cinema, burgers in the ice-skating rink…
Anywhere that’s new and exciting and different.
Make it a proper date by dressing up, keeping positive and holding hands a lot.
Invest in that “back to school” feeling and decide to learn a new skill as a couple. Salsa, skiing, Spanish… Anything goes as long as it interests both of you (at least vaguely) and can be done regularly.
When you’ve decided what to do, make sure you make a regular date out of it by going for coffee or dinner afterwards. And mark the end of the course by celebrating in style, perhaps taking a holiday together to show off your new language, or your skiing moves?
