Exercise and sport after pregnancy

How much weight did you put on during pregnancy? I gained 1.5 stone on average, only on my belly and breasts though.

What method did you use to get rid of this excess weight? I didn't follow any method in particular. I love sport: I go to the gym three times a week and I go for a run every morning, even when I'm on holiday. I also carried on with regular, suitable exercise (yoga, swimming and walking) right up until I gave birth. Sport is like a drug for me!

How long did it take to get your figure back? Within one week, my body was back in shape. I gradually took up sport again and after all three pregnancies, I immediately got my flat, firm stomach back.

Advantages of this method: The advantage of being so keen on exercise is that you can get back into shape quickly. It's probably the best way of restoring a firm, toned body in record time.

Disadvantages of this method: You need to be big on sport and like moving a lot.
